🧵 Professional Longarm Quilting — Mail-In Service 🧵
Have a beautiful quilt top waiting to be finished? Let an award-winning quilter bring it to life!
I quilt on an APQS Millennium with computerized precision on a 14-foot frame — meaning I can handle everything from baby quilts up to California king size, a capacity most home longarmers can't match.
As a former APQS representative and award-winning quilter (including Best of Show), I know these machines inside and out. Your quilt gets the same care I'd give my own prize-winning pieces.
Whether you're a beginner quilter finishing your very first top or an experienced quilter with your fiftieth — I love quilting them all. We all started somewhere! 🧵
✂️ What's Included
- Edge-to-edge computerized quilting (extensive catalog of pantograph designs to choose from)
- Thread included
- Professional handling from start to finish
- Trimming available on request (let me know if you'd like your quilt trimmed after quilting)

🎨 Choosing a Design
I have an extensive catalog of pantograph designs — modern, floral, geometric, traditional, baby-friendly, seasonal, and more. After you purchase, I'll help you pick the perfect one.
Not sure what would look good on your quilt? Don't worry — your quilt is in good hands with me! Just tell me the style or feeling you're going for, and I'll find the best pattern to make your quilt shine.
🧵 Thread Color
Thread is included! I will find the best thread color that goes with your quilt — that's part of what I do. If you have a specific color in mind, just let me know and I'll use it.
📏 Pricing
$0.025 per square inch (thread included)
- Baby (40" × 50"): ~$50
- Throw (60" × 72"): ~$108
- Twin (70" × 90"): ~$158
- Queen (90" × 108"): ~$243
- King (110" × 110"): ~$303
- Cal King (110" × 120"): ~$330
Minimum charge: $50. Pricing is calculated from your quilt top measurements (length × width × $0.025). This $35 listing is a non-refundable deposit — it reserves your spot in my quilting queue and will be deducted from your final invoice. Your quilt must be received within one month of purchasing this listing. I'll send a custom invoice for the remaining balance based on your quilt's exact measurements. Your quilt ships back once the balance is paid in full.
🧶 Batting Options
I stock premium batting — choose what works for your quilt:
- 100% Cotton — classic, soft, traditional feel
- Wool — lofty, warm, beautiful drape
- Hobbs 80/20 — the quilter's favorite all-rounder
- 8oz Polyester — budget-friendly, holds up great
Batting charged separately by size. Or send your own!
📦 How Mail-In Works
- Purchase this deposit listing
- I'll message you with an intake form (quilt dimensions, design preferences, batting choice, thread color)
- Ship me your quilt top + backing (see prep requirements below)
- I quilt it — typical turnaround 2–3 weeks from arrival
- I ship it back, beautifully quilted and ready for binding!
📋 Preparing Your Quilt
- Quilt top AND backing must be pressed — no wrinkles
- No open seams — all seams must be fully sewn and secure
- All loose threads removed or snipped on both top and backing
- Quilt top: squared up
- Backing and batting: at least 4–6" larger than the quilt top on ALL sides (needed to load it on my machine)
- Backing fabric: quilting cotton or flannel only — no bed sheets, minky, or other fabrics
- If piecing your backing: remove selvedges, use ½" seams pressed open
- Please do NOT spray baste your quilt top, backing, or batting — I need the layers separate to load them on the longarm frame properly
- No embellishments (buttons, beads, etc.)
- Mark the top edge of both top and backing with a safety pin
Quilts arriving not meeting these prep requirements may incur a $20/hour prep fee, or may be returned at your expense. I'll always contact you first.
🚚 Shipping
- You ship your top + backing to me (Scobey, Montana) — you cover shipping to me
- Return shipping: I'll ship via USPS or UPS, tracked and insured — customer pays return shipping (added to your final invoice at cost)
- Your quilt ships back once paid in full
- Your quilt is handled with care and stored safely
⏱ Turnaround
Typical: 2–3 weeks from the day your quilt arrives. Rush service may be available — message me first!
📣 Stay in the Loop!
I'll keep you posted through the whole process — from the moment your quilt arrives to the day it ships back home. And I may share photos or videos of your beautiful quilt coming together on social media! Your intake form will include a photo consent so you can let me know your preference.
❓ Questions? Special Requests?
Message me anytime! Tell me your quilt dimensions and I'll give you an exact quote before you ship anything. Have a special request? Feel free to contact me — I'm happy to discuss what you need.
